Hello Robin,
Thanks for that MDAH suggestion. For years before the MDAH's move to their new quarters, I have dealt mainly through the mail in my research requests. I think I may have assumed that their on-line search facilities were still too primitive to be of any use. At your suggestion, I spent an hour or so browsing around the on-line catalog and found they have made much progress and no doubt will be making more as each year passes. Thanks again - btw, have you and I corresponded before? I have a vague recollection of a "Robin" with whom I have corresponded, but cannot remember the subject.
