Is anyone researching the SAYLEs in Yalobusha County? They are not my direct line, but I believe they may be related, as there are some common first and middle names. I would be interested in discussing the MS SAYLEs and mine, who ended up in TX (1857) after being in NC, TN, KY and TN again. My 3rd great grandfather was Thomas S. SAYLE who in 1830 m. Elizabeth HAYNES in probably KY or TN. They were briefly in MO, where they were when their first child was born in 1831 (Dr. Robert L. SAYLE). Thomas' father was William Erven SAYLE. There are a lot of doctors in the SAYLE families. I have a present-day cousin with that name who was always told he was "about the 10th" SAYLE man with that name. I'm not sure if that meant only the William or "William Erven."
