Lois Ann Pate, 87, died July 14, 2006, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born June 6, 1919, in Yalobusha County to the late Larkin Ray Pate and the late Martha Lillie Williams Pate. She was the assistant plant manager at Reliance and Big Yank in Water Valley for more than 40 years. She was a member of Elam Baptist Church near Coffeeville.
Services were July 15 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Houston with burial in Houston Cemetery.
Survivors include three nephews, Harry E. Vickery and wife, Ann, and Barry Vickery and wife, Val, all of Jackson, and David R. Vickery and wife, Catherine, of Cambridge, Mass.; the widow of nephew Hugh, Ann Vickery of Houston; one sister, Claribel Pate Vickery of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Hugh Pate Vickery; and a brother, Irvin Ray Pate.
