Water Valley, M. S ------ Belmont, MS
Homer C. "Buddy" Moxley, 78, formerly of Belmont, MS, died Thursday May 04, 2006 at he Baptist Memorial Hospital-N Miss. in Oxford, MS He was born July 05, 1927 to the late Jodie and Annie (Delaney) Moxley. He was retired from the Mississippi Highway Department,and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Water Valley, a graduate of the Belmont High School Clas of 1946, and being the Class Valedictorian.
Services were held at 10:00 A. M. in Water Valley on Sat. May the 6th. and graveside services were held at the Lindsey Cemetery in Dennis, MS at 2:30 on Sat May the 6th.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Ann (Greene) Moxley of Water Valley: one daughter, Jeannie and husband, Travis Clement of Water Valley: two sisters, Ruby Epps of Dennis, and Arby McKinney of Iuka, one brother Comer Moxley of Dennis, three grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren. His Mother-in-law- Mrs. Vera Greene, a sister-in-law Jolene (Greene) Stockton, and husband Marshall, all of Russellville, AL
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Cindy (Moxley) Michael, of Booneville, (June 05, 1979).
Two sisters Janie Hoard, and Rena Kemp; two brothers, Grover T., and H. D.(Dayton) Moxley.
