Looking for information on:
John Nolin in 1840, age 30-40, boy, under 5, boy, 5-10 and girl, 5-10 and a felmale 30-40.
David R. Mathis in 1840 (next door) to Nolin, age 30-40, boy, under 5 amd felmale 50-60.
My gggrandfather David Nolin/Mathis changed his name to Mathis after 1860. In 1860 census,in Hickman Co. Tn he is listed as Nolin with his wife and my ggrandfather. After that time he is listed as Mathis in other censuses there after. Any help with these families would really help maybe end the mystery. Thank You
