In 1838, G.W. Bratton was made overseer of the ‘Yellowbushia Plantation” owned by James K. and William H. Polk. (Yalobusha Co History and Records, Vol.1, pp. 14 & 15). He died on 7-2-1839 in Yalobusha Co. Would appreciate any information on this Bratton.
