Thanks so much for your reply and offer. I really don't know which cemetery in Sevier Co. in TN. Emeline's family moved to that area from Anson Co. NC and she married into the Duggan family; the son of Col. Wilson Duggan. My guess would be that if she died there, her grave would be in the same cemetery. The problem is that I think she moved with the rest of the family and her husband to Yazoo Co. and may be burried in Yazoo Co. Her husband's grave is marked along with the second wife, but many of the gravestones in that cemetery are down, broken or gone. She could be there, but I would hope that someone knew at one time where she was laid to rest.
William Chistopher Everett is the name of one of the sons of James Everett. However, he may have had a brother with the same name. I will have to get to my records later and look that up and let you know.
I don't know the name Susan Jordan in Yazoo Co or Allen King. She is around the same generation as my gr-grandmother though. I don't have much information on that family. I have been writing to other descendants of the Jordan family to see if anyone has a better knowledge of the family than I have been able to find. There was another Jordan family in that area that seems to be completely unrelated to ours though. I think that Roger Bull (see Bull genealogy) may have some knowledge of that other family. He has posted his genealogy on rootsweb and has many other postings on Jordan forum and Bull forum.
If you have any knowledge of the cemetery where Col Wilson Duggan is burried in Sevier, let me know. Right now I can't get to the records to see if I have the cemetery name.
If I find it, I will send that to you.
