James and Judith Jernigan Everett are my ancestors thru their dau., Mary, who m. George Phillips and lived in TN.
I am trying to find the Cemetery for James to see if his nother might be buried there. Agnes, his mother, is said to have died in Yazoo, MS. I have not been able to find documented proof that Agnes Diggs Everett and Thomas Everett were the parents of James, except a reference in the Moorman Bible. This is probably insufficient for my DAR Registrar. Do you have any evidence to support the ancestry of James Everett, especially as to his mother?
