I am trying to find the parents and siblings of Joseph Wilson Bell and his wife, Nancy "Nannie" Potter. They are my g-g-grandparents.
He was born in Yazoo County on 19 Mar 1826. She was born in Tennessee on 26 Nov 1826. They had the following children - all born in Yazoo, MS:
Sarah Rebecca - 1853
Elnora Eugenia - 1855
Caledonai Melva - 1858
Joseph William - 1860
Josephine - 1861
Etichia Alicaine - 1863
They had a plantation when he joined the MS Calvary. She fled with the family to Coryell County, Texas. After the War, he joined her in Texas. They had two more children.
Joseph died on 20 Feb 1892 in Burnet County, TX. Nancy died in 1905 in Anson, Jones, Texas.
I would like to find someone who has these names in their family tree. After 4 years of searching, I have exhausted my resources for now - there are so many Bells in MS and I am at a dead end for now.
