Hello, I am also looking for African American Cole Family in MS. I am looking for JOE COLE born in 1850 in MS. I don't know anything about where he was born or who his parents are. He moved to Burleson Co.,TX. He first showed up on the 1870 Census there. He later married JOSEPHINE ROBERTSON and settled there in Tunis TX having 10 children. Also to answer your question. I think it is up to you, however your nephew is not related to you by blood only by marriage. In my family tree I list the spouse and her parents and siblings but I do not go on to list the siblings info or her grandparents and so on. That in is my surname tree. I have a second surname tree for my husband which list all of his family. I only list myself and my parents and siblings on his tree. I do not list my sister's family and there spouses info. Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any info for Joe Cole. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks
