Searching for info on Robert Ray SHROPSHIRE and wives Gertrude Violet and Susie D. unknown maiden names.
In 1920 Dorey Schl Dist #12, Hill County, MT census Ray/Roy Shropshire (30 CO- IA/MO, Farmer) listed with spouse Gertrude V. 35 MI- US/IL. Received divorce decree 30 May 1926 in Hill County.
Then in 1930 Blaine County Ray R. Shropshire was with 2nd wife Susie D. (born 1906 MT- Can/Can).
Also, Ry Shropshire (sic) in MT Dth Indx, died 1939. I suspect this was Ray, but I don't subscribe to Ancestry. Is anyone aware of an online death index I might search for more complete info?
I checked land patents, since Ray was listed as a farmer, but couldn't find any Shropshires in Montana.
Ray has been a hard subject to follow. He likely didn't have any children, so I'm afraid there will be few interested in completing his file. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
