Carol: Thomas P. Aspling lived in what is now Powell County. The city of Deer Lodge is the County Seat of Powell County, and the city of Anaconda is the County Seat of Deer Lodge County. Therefore, when it says Mr. Aspling resided in Deer Lodge, it means the city--not the county.
