Searching for information on FLOYD B. AUSTIN. He is listed in the 1920 Stillwater County,Montana census as living in
the household of his son-in-law, Calvin B. Vivian. Floyd's age is listed as 75. He was born in 1843 in Grayson County,
VA. Served in CO F, 4th VA Inf during the Civil War. He maried Larissa Gerald, Feb 25, 1869 in Grayson County.
They had 2 children that we have found. George, who was born in Mo. and Hattie, born in Montana. Hattie married
Calvin Vivian. Hattie died in 1968 in Gallatin Co., & is buried in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Floyd & Larissa moved to Montana shortly after Civil War ended. Larissa is buried in the Bozeman Cemetery. She died December 5, 1889 aged 46 yrs 8 mos, according to her headstone. Floyd was the son of Lewis
Bledsoe Austin. Lewis, called Bledsoe, moved to Jefferson County, Montana, with his 2nd wife Matilda in 1872. Bledsoe
died in Bozeman abt 1893 but do not know where he is buried. He & Matilda lived in Radersburg, MT. Matilda died in
1895 and is buried in the Centerville Cemetary. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
