Frederic Willing dies Friday

Frederic S. Willing, 53, 415 S.
Roberts, died Friday night at
St. Peters Hospital following a
short illness.
He was born Aug. 26, 1920,
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
William F. Willing, Kent,
Wash.
The family moved to
Glasgow, where he attended
school and graduated from
Glasgow high.
After graduating from
Montana State College, he
enlisted in the 414 Signal Corps
in 1942 and served in Italy. In
1946 he went to work for
Mountain Bell as a linemen.
In 1947, he married Ila King,
who preceded him in death. He
was remarried in 1951 to
Bernice Alice Drake.
Willing was a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars, a
past president of the Treasure
State Council of the Telephone
Pioneers of America and a
member of the Plymouth
Congregational Church.
Survivors include: his wife
Bernice, Helena, a son Bill,
Deer Lodge, three daughters,
Laura Schroder, St. Helens,
Ore.; and Geri Ann and Gene
Susan Willing, both of Helena,
and his mother, Nettie Willing,
Decorah, Iowa.

Pallbearers will be S. G.
Hamlin III, Frank Kamlowsky,
Don Eggan, Melton Johnson,
Joe Thaers and G. H. Mundt.
Honorary Pallbearers include:
R. L. Davis, J. D.
Flesher, Bill Lee, Bob Davis,
Len Stetzner, and T. C Waterman.
Hagler Mortuary is in charge
of arrangements

a.m. at . Plymouth
Congregational Church, with
Rev. William Burkhardt
officiating. Graveside services
will be held Tuesday,

Lewis & Clark Cancer Society
