Wagner, 57 years old, resident of Walla Walla for the past five years, having come here from Ontario, Ore., died in a local hospital Friday morning. Wagner was a farmer and made his home at 312 Sumach Street Born August 4, 1890 in Romania, he belonged to the Christ Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife Rosina of Walla Walla; three sons, Alfred of La Grande, Phillip of Seattle, and Gustav Wagner of Spokane; one daughter, Mrs. Basil (Ida) Newton of Twin Falls, Idaho; two brothers, Carl Wagner of Walla Walla and George of Saskatchewan, Canada; four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kolibaba and Mrs. Amelia Wagner of Cloverdale, BC, Mrs. Christine Gillner of Sasketchewan, and Mrs. Caroline Schaffer of Ontario, Oregon, and six grandsons. ---- Walla Walla Union Bulletin, 20 Nov 1948 Rosena Wagner Dies in Local Hospital Mrs. Rosena Wagner, 312 West Sumach, died in a local hospital Saturday morning. Born in Germany, she came to Walla Walla five years ago from Ontario, Oregon. Mrs. Wagner is survived by sons, Alfred and Phillip Wagner, both of Walla Walla, and Gus Wagner, of Spokane; and a daughter Mrs. Basil (Ida) Newton of Twin Falls, Idaho. She is survived by sisters, Mrs. George Wagner of Regina, Sask., Canada, Mrs. Carl Wagner of Walla Walla, and Mrs. David Hildeman of Dubal, Sask., and by two brothers, Jacob and Daniel Maier of Coronach, Sask.
