I am researching my great grandfather and his mother. Lawrence Millard "Larry" Hightower who was the famous wheelbarrow pusher was born in Coal Creek Tennessee and his mother was Jessie Evelyn (Kesterson) Hightower from TN. They relocated to Montana in the 1920's. Larry was said to have a Horse farm or ranch in Butte Montana, where he lived later in 1930 with his wife Corrince Rose (Honnef) Hightower and my grandma Margaret was born and her sister Lorraine. They also had a brother born in ND before coming to MT. Jessie Kesterson was said to have moved to Helena MT. I am looking for any kind of inf. someone might have on Larry's horse ranch, if anyone knows him. Also What happened to Jessie Evelyn (Kesterson) she may have remarried in Helena, MT and I am looking for where she is burried. She was born March 1880 and moved to MT I am guessing in the 1920's not sure. I believe she was still alive in 1935 ish and do not know when she died. If anyone has inf. on directing me further in how to find this inf. records, website, libraries etc. please let me know. Thank you Holly Notify Administrator about this message?
