Hello Cousin Kay,
Archibald's brother William was my 6th generation grandfather. Muckleroy became McElroy with Williams line, and then it morphed into McKleroy in Georgia. I'm still working on going beyond John Muckleroy, myself. His father or grandfather is believed to be either Archibald Muckle or Patrick Mackelroy who came to the US on the same ship in the 1670's. Betty Stokes is by far the best McKleroy/Mackelroy/Muckleroy/Muckle etc. expert that I've come across on this site.
