I cannot place your family. Most of the Muckleroys are all kin. My Muckleroy family was in Georgia before 1800.Then they moved to Tennessee by 1820 and were on the Franklin Co.,TN census. Most of the family went south to Alabama, Missippi, or Texas. Some were in Texas around 1837. Several others were there by 1850. There was usually a Blacksmith in each generation. Sometimes more. I have a large Muckleroy/Mackelroy, McElroy database, but I don't see him. Most of the Muckleroys in Texas were mostly from Isaac Muckleroy, son of Avington, grandson of Archibald (gunsmith), great grandson of John and Frances Mackelroy.
