I am in a bit of a pickle right now. I thought it was my great great grandfathers death certificate that said his wife's name was Amanda McElroy. But it was obviously another document. I need to find that one. The Texas marriages say that her name was Sarah A. Wright at the time she married Francis Marion White. She had been married once before and had a son named Thomas Wright. She was born a Muckleroy. Her second marriage was in Hays county Texas. I show on the 1870 Dallas County Texas census that she is living only with her one year old son Thomas,under the name of Amanda Wright.
