My Grandmother's father was Allen Wesley Muckenfuss. Born in Charleston, SC August 21, 1843. He served as a Lieutenant in the 27th SC Regiment, receiving his promotion from Sergeant July of 1863.

He was elected a member of the Camp A. Burnett Rhett II #767, United Confederate Veterans on February 13, 186X.

He had 2 children that I know about; my grandmother Lillian Rosalie Muckenfuss Wilson, who married Martin Rhodes Wilson of Mayesville and moved to Birmingham, AL, and her brother Roy Muckenfuss, who also moved to Birmingham.

Do you know of a family connection to your branch?
