I saw your post and the names were so similiar I had to write. My great grandmother was Mary Jane McElhaney (not completely sure) and her mother was a Muckenfoos. Mary Jane was married 3 times and I am descended from her last marriage (to Louis or Lewis Winningham).Nobody seems to know my gggrandmother's first name. My grandmother Betsy Viola Winningham was born in Dorchester County, October 4, 1904, and married Willie Walter Eade, who was part Santee Indian. Do you have any of these names in your research? I would appreciate any help you can give me.
