It was very strange seeing both the names Mullarkey and Quinn together? My great grandad I think came not far from Galway his name was Martin Mullarkey he was born around 1876.I just wonder if there could be a family link as strangely his first wife was called Ruth Quinn? how strange is that? I think he married his first wife when he was about 20- 1896? these are all approx dates. This wife had a twin sister, whos name I do not know.Martins first wife passed away.At some point Martin came to Lincolnshire, it may have been with his first wife. After the death of Ruth Quinn Martin later married my great grandmother, Ruth Capes in 1916.I believe he origionally came to work in Lincolnshire in farming with his brother, whos name I do not know.I do not know what happened to his brother for sure, but I think he may have gone home to Ireland.I'm under the impression that the family lost touch and that the reason may have had something to do with Martin becoming a methodist. I would love to know if you think there may be a connection as I have hit a wall regarding any relations prior to my great grandad. Martins only son, he named Thomas and his daughters he called Bridget, who I see quiet often, Ada and Maud there may have been more but I dont have my info to hand. I really hope this rings some bells.Thank you. Janet
