George, can't help you directly however I have been told that Irish families would name their children after close relatives. The names you mention run in the Mullarkey side of my family. Also, my great-grandmother was Julia Ann O'Hara who married John Thomas Mullarkey around 1864 somewhere back east. My grandmother was Mary Ann Lucretia Mullarkey. Do you know any more?
