Re/George Mullis reputedly born ca. 1745. This individual is the product of someone's imagination, as there are no records for one of his supposed age; only records on a George Mullis for this period is that of George Mullis b. ca. 1725 in Lancaster Co., Va., recorded in 1741, 1745, 1763 [Orange and Culpeper counties, Va.), then in 1768 Orange Co., NORTH C., and lastly in 1774 Chatham Co., formed from Orange Co. N.C. in 1771.

Anyway, the George b. ca. 1725 would have had no difficulty being a father as late as the 1770s, so why invent another George of younger age??
