Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Lynn, one womders what came first, the person or the proof?
A researcher can sometimes only build on speculation with the meager evidence presented. Was "Liddia" created from her tombstone or? Would she be buried next to Joseph if there had been no connection? It is the same with my GGGG-grandfather, John "Jackson" Mullis , actually John,Jr. His wife, Rachel Brewer, shows up in the 1850 census in the HH
of her daughter, Anna Mullis Purser Rushing's( my GGG grandmother) 2nd marriage, as "Rachel Nullis" at 102 yrs
of age!! ( she may have sometimes felt like it!) Is there a stone for Charlie Mullis in the cemetery?
