The Fort Dodge Iowa Mulroney Brothers are in my line.If you can get a copy the book, Historic Homes of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Blanden Federation of Arts April, 1975 has concise story on pages 47-48. Also See The Biographical Record of Webster County ,IA, Chicago Il, L.J. Clarke Publishing Co., 1902 page 359. and McCarty, D.G. "History of Palo Alto County, 1910, p.33.
A brief synopsis:
John Martin Mulroney b. 11 Nov 1832 emigrated about 1845, son of Patrick Mulroney, Married Jane Evans d.1882 in 1858 in Emmetsberg. He then married Hannah Eugenie Byrne of Fort Dodge.By first marriage had nine children: Mary, John, Kyran, Will, Joseph, Louis, Charles, Edward and Josephine. Second Marriage produced two more sons, Frank and Robert.Will, Joseph and Louis were associated in business founded by J.M. Mulroney.Kyran was a reported to be "in the West", and Charles, a doctor. Mary married Ed O'Connell and settled in Bloomington, Illinois.Edward was an attorney of Mssoula Montana. Above references also follow Jane Evans" family.
