My grandmother was Ellen Mulrooney, from Glenamaddy, Galway, Ireland. She came to N.Y. after her parents, sister, etc. died in Ireland, to be with two sisters who were already in N.Y. She was 17, and left behind a farm. She married Ralph Wills, and had four children, my mother the eldest. My daughter has visited the farm in Ireland, which was taken over by her deceased sister's husband. Don't know much more, but nice to see the name.
