Matilda de Mumby and Robert De Wycliffe II
Posted by: Thelma Sorenson (ID *****6084) Date: June 17, 2005 at 17:13:13

I am following the lines above and have a question. I've run into sites which say that Robert De Wycliffe II, 4th Lord of Wycliffe married Matilda de Ulvington. Yet, I also have him marrying Matilda de Mumby. Can someone clear this up for me? What is the possibility that the de Ulvington and de Mumby families are just different variations of the same surname? I have not seen mention of more than one marriage. Help, please. Thanks! Thelma
