I'm also researching Mumby's in North Lincolnshire, i.e. Brigg, Scawby, Barnetby, Searby, etc.

I don't think there is any direct connection with your branch, but who knows. I have traced my lineage back several generations to 1740. Most of my kin were in Scawby, Brigg in the mid 1800's.
