Hello Jessica,
I saw your posting at Genealogy. COM and wanted to know if perhaps your family and I are related being that my father told me he was from Mayaguez, PR my mother is from Arecibo Puerto Rico my great grandfather and great grandmother are Rufino and Fransisca (Pancha) Lopez from Jarealito Puerto Rico My Grandparents are Hilda Candida (daughter of Rufino and Pancha) and Miguel Angel Miranda.
I dont know much about my father Jaime Muņiz having only met him as an adult several times and as a child I knew him as my "uncle jaime" last time I saw him as an adult was in NYC in the early middle 80's. From the little I know of my father he told me his family was from Mayaguez P. R.
My mother is Leila Miranda she used to be called Lily.
They met in the Bronx. . .
That is all I know or remember except that he has another daughter, my sister her name is Erin Muniz (we lost touch) and that his mother died of complications of diabetes.
