Valentine MUNSLOW, Northumberland Co. VA 1660s
Posted by: Paul Phelps (ID *****9370) Date: April 20, 2011 at 17:19:47

Seeking information on the life and descendants of Valentine MUNSLOW of Northumberland Co. VA. Available evidence suggests that he came to VA in 1661 or 1668, possibly as an indentured servant. However, on 6 Dec 1669 Valentine MUNSLOW and partner Paul LITTLEFIELD bought 50 acres in Wiccomico Parish from Robert BURRELL. Valentine sold his share of this property to LITTLEFIELD on 11 Feb 1678/79, but he clearly held other property later.

Valentine MUNSLOW d. bef. 18 Jun 1712, when his nuncupative will was probated by Onesephorus HARVEY and Jno BROWN. This oral will gave Valentine's plantation and other assets to his godson, Valentine ESTER.

On 19 Mar 1702/03, a complaint by Valentine MUNSLOW against James COX was dismissed by the Nothumberland Co. court. I would be partiuclarly intereste in learning the details of that complaint.
