Hi Colin Thanks a lot for your confirmation of the cousinly relationship twixt William and Mary. William's father, Thomas 1738-1791 NS Mary's grandfather, Edward 1749-1777 were brothers. Edward's wife we have as Mary Taylor, who after his death, married Joseph Greenham in 1779. We have Edward junior as Edward Thomas 1777-1838/9. My cousin has thomas and Edward's father as Thomas 1710-1750 m Elizabeth french 1738. His father Roger Murley c1678-1752. His father, Silvester ?-1704. We also have Will copies for both Roger 1678 and Edward 1785-1839 (Mary's brother) who married Mary Budden. The latter we have as a 'gentleman farmer', but I gather from you that his father and grandfather were solicitors? I understand that you are linked to Blanche, daughter of John 1816. We don't have him but have Roger's children as Catherine 1798, Maria 1800, Elizabeth 1802, Ann 1804, George Bullock 1807 (? died young), Mary 1809, George 1812, Martha 1816. We have a George m to Sarah with 8 children and a George Bullock who is a solicitor in the 1851 Census. I have to say that there are great numbers of Murly/Murleys and it is very confusing to day the least! Do you have any of the info I have given you about the earlier Murleys and do you know from whence they came - Cornwall? I look forward to hearing from you.
