Dear Robert,
Many thanks for your reply re Murley Family history, What have you done so far... do you know where your parent & grandparent were born?
I was lucky in the fact that my Grandfather mentioned before he died that he was told that his family originally came from Cornwall, once I discovered that my Greatgandfather was born in Phillack just snowballed from there.
I have made a start on my Grandmother family history, she is 88 years old and there are only 2 of them left alive from her family.
My Grandparents had 2 girls, and there is no one so far as I know to carry on the family name.
Genealogy is like a bug!!! once you start you can't stop. My grandmothers side is proving a lot more interesting than my Grandfathers, as I have already stummbled upon a murder, I hope to be able to discover more information from the court records.
If you would like addresses of other people tracing the name Murley please let me know as I have written to many people and exchanged information.
I look forward to your reply, if you would like to e-mail me directly my address is as follows:
Dawn Hobbs
