I want to greatly thank you Reinhart for all your help, this is greatly appreciated! The post that you are replying to is in error, as I have put together a much greater and more accurate picture since then. James is the son of Owen and Bridget, not Owen and Mary. That Owen is James (born 1868) brother. I do not have a birth date for Owen, but around 1860 seems correct. These Murtagh's went to Montpelier, and some are still there today.
Drumraney is in County Westmeath, I did visit the twon last year on my honeymoon with my wife. It will take me some time to go through your information and compare it with the picture I have, but again I appreciate it very much. If you have any questions, my email is spm139@hotmail.com
