Owen Murtaugh, 1826 in Louth-1904 in Chatsworth, IL
Bridget Lawless Murtaugh, d. 1864 in Illinois
Alice Clary Murtaugh, b. 1830 Ireland-d. 1913 in Chatsworth
Their children:
Rev. William M Murtaugh, 1860-1930, priest who died in Shefield Illinois. Francis "Frank" Murtaugh, 1862-1940 who farmed in Livingston county and died in Chatsworth. Wife was Sarah Harrington Murtaugh, 1861-1943 who died there.
Mary Murtaugh 1869-1889; Eugene 1870-1891; Alice 1876-1957.
Only Frank and Sarah had children: Agnes 1892-1925 who married Leo Garrity and had two sons Leo and Francis;
Hazel 1894-1984 who married Dr James Walter Ford also from Chatsworth; Owen 1895-1904; James 1898-1985.
Also another son of Owen was John Murtaugh who died in 1917 in Oregon. He was father of two: William1890-1967 in Portland Oregon and John Francis 1891-1969 in Oregon.
Hoping to make contact with anyone with information of these families as Owen was brother to our great grandgather.
