Hi! That's interesting. There is a legend (I thought) that might pertain to your info. Nobody is sure of the origin of the Musgrave coat of arms - 6 gold rings, 3-2-1 on a solid field. The legend states that a German king held a contest in which knights were challenged to a tilt where they must skewer a golden ring with their lances at full gallop. Naturally, our Musgrave won and subsequently was awarded the hand of the kings daughter. Do you suppose that there is actually some basis of fact to the story? Regards, tw
