Does anyone have any ancestry information regarding John Musgrave(s) who married Patsy Rich on 9 Jun 1833 in Hamilton County, Illinois? Gil Musgrave's website shows him as having been born in Green County, Tennessee in 1812 and following from the line Moses<John<John<Moses<Oswin. I believe he died between 1845 and 1850, most likely in Hamilton County, Illinois. The little bit of family history from two of his sons who settled in Dent County, Missouri suggests that the family came from Evansville, Indiana, indicates that both parents died when the children were young, and also makes reference to their mother as Martha (Patsy?? or someone else??). The children are found living with a suspected relative of Patsy Rich (Sidney Rich) in 1850 in Hamilton County, and there was apparently a great deal of intermarriage between the Musgrave(s) and Rich families in this area. I believe John is my ggg-grandfather. Any help, including any information regarding any portion of this particular line downstream from Moses the First, would be appreciated. Thanks. Bob Musgraves
