Looking for anyone with an interest in West Country Musgroves, especially those from the following counties of England: Devon, Cornwall, Somerset. Any male Musgroves or Musgraves who would be interested in a DNA study please contact me ... my brother has just been tested and it would be great to investigate the origins of this surname, which may or may not originate from the de Muscegros/ Mussegros Norman family who held land in Somerset in the medieval period. my family were living in Plymouth, Devon from the 1790's onward, but we are unsure of their earlier place of residence.
