I have a portrait of Isabella Musgrove. Her husband was said to be a 'retainer' for Castle Douglas They married in the mid eighteenth century.
Isabella Musgrove and Nicholas Golding (Goulding) had at least two daughters:
1) Mary GOLDING born c1772 in N. Knowes in England. She married Boaty Thomson from Crossford in Lanarkshire, Scotland and she died btw 1851 and 1855. Their daughter married into the SCOTT family of R. & W> Preserve Makers, Carluke.
2)Isabella GOLDING married Thomas Crawford in Lesmahagow in 1792
