Charles Musgrove of Sidbury, 1841 inheritance

In The Times (London)newspaper of 14 December 1841, the following report from Devon appears:
"A poor man named Charles Musgrove, an operative mason at Sidford in the parish of Sidbury, is a claimant of and the supposed heir to a large property, stated to be 30,000 [pounds] in the funds, besides considerable landed property in Somerset. - [sourced from] Western Times."

Do any Musgroves out there know anything more about this? I am descended from Charles's brother Henry who married Elizabeth Drake Matthews at Salcombe Regis in 1820.
