This was in "Adams county News" Gettysburg PA, Saturday, Oct. 2, 1909:

"John Musselman

John Musselman, a well known resident of Liberty twonship, died suddenly at 4 am Wednesday morning, aged about 72 years.
Mr. Musselman had been in Fairfield on Turesday evening attending the Uncle Tom's Cabin show and was apparently in good health. EArly next morning his wife noticed that he was breathing rather heavily and tried to rouse him but death followed in a few minutes.

Mr. Musselman was the last of the family. His wife alone survives and no brothers or sisters are living. He was a farmer and day laborer until a few years ago since when he has been living retired. He was a veteran of the Civil War and attended the reunion of the 17th Pennsylvania Cavalry which was held here last week.
Funeral Friday Morning at 9 o'clock from his late home. Interment in the Lutheran Cemetery at Fairfield."

Hope this helps.
