We have a Jacob T. Musselman, 1833-1914, b. in Lancaster Co. PA, joined the Union army from Illinois (is it a photo of a man in uniform?), married Annas Cooper, died in Linden Iowa. Could be a friend of your family perhaps. I don't list a Welty family but perhaps one of his children married a Welty relative. The names of his daughters' spouses that I do know are; Tate, Nitchals, Nuckolls, Linn, and Tesdall. Ring any bells? I have a photo of Jacob in his Union uniform that I could email you if you like.
