I am very interested in any information/history of Jacob Musselman & Mary Gribben from Richland County, Ohio. I own a violin dated 1856 built by Jacob Musselman, Shelby Ohio on December 24th of that year. Bought by a Mr. John Dempsey. I have researched and found some history/background about Mr. Dempsey, but did not have any luck with finding information about the builder. This has to be the same person because of it being built/sold/bought in Shelby, Ohio in the year 1856 which would have been an ideal time during his age to have probably built this instrument. It is a beautiful piece and would love to share photos with his ancestry generations. Ty
