John Musselman was probably a farmer like most of the Mennonites who moved to the Shenandoah Valley.

Part of his children were born in Pennsylvania and the remainder in Virginia. The old family bible is printed in German. They were Mennonite.

I have not been able to make the connection yet to his family in Pennsylvania. I have two possibilities that I am working on.

I descend from John and Maria's son, Christian Musselman.
