Thank you Jim. I am assuming all the information you sent was from the "Old Pike Post". I wondered if it showed the death date for Christian, Jr., or if it was written verbatim as you typed it? So there is no point in looking for him in Richland Co.? That must be why she owned land in Mansfield, Ohio in 1827-28 in her own name of Nancy Musselman. She had a son Jacob born 1821 in Allegany Co., Md. so Christian must have died around that time?
Some family genealogy mentioned he had abandoned Nancy, so I wanted clarification on that. So it looks like he may have died young, instead.
Thanks for the information, and good luck with your search.
