Mike, I just happened upon your question on who was the first? I am not sure of how accurate the info., but I found a John Musselwhite that arrived aboard the ship named "James"in Boston New England in 1635. He was listed as a laborer on the ships passenger list. This is the earliest Musselwhite of America that I have found so far.I have not been able to trace my family directly to this John. There were a lot of John Musselwhite's and the trees are hard to follow.
Any info about Musselwhite's of England before America would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David
