My father and I have traced the Tree back to the early 1500. My family still Live in Hampshire, (The County next To Wiltshire. As I understand it the first to go to America was James in the early 1700 hundreds

The name is French related. The Aristocrat Mousel - Married the Wench white in 1450 or around then and in Wiltshire. The French spelling was dropped and the hyphenated name stuck until the end of the 1500 hundreds.

We have our own coat of arms NOT THE ONE ON THE WEB with the mussels thatís made up.. But
we were a very wealthy family in the beginning and remained a key family in the history of the area.

We have studied grave sire dating back nearly 500 years and You might be interested to know that we also have our own cemetery in Wiltshire with over 50 residents and room for more.

If you want to know more as i have all the dates on file let me know

Cheers Simon
