I am trying to find a certain Musselwhite that lived in Berrien Co. Ga. in 1880. He is listed in the census and his first name starts with an A. I can't make out his full name but he is 65 years old and his wife Martha is 45. They have a son named Joseph 15 living with them and also living there is a mother in law named Holland Dixon, so Martha must be a Dixon. This Holland Dixon is what drew me to the Musselwhites. I am looking for her children's families. Hollen/Holland had a daughter named Mary Ann that would be about 38 years old in 1880 that could possibly be this Martha. I believe this Musselwhite is named Asa, but not sure. I can't find them in any other census.
There is also another Asa Musselwhite living in 1870 Hamilton Co. Fl. that is the right age to be the same one in 1880 Berrien Co. Ga, but married to someone else.
I am so confused about the Musselwhites because it is so hard to find them in the census. I have found some listed as White and some listed as Mussel among other names. Please..please..please can you or someone enlighten me on the Dixon that is married to the Musselwhite in Berrien Co. Ga. in 1880. I appreciate any info you can give. Thanks
