Margaret Musselwhite Halcomb was the name of my grandpa's aunt... and probably the same woman you are looking for. She was Cherokee. There were 8 Musselwhite sisters here (My gg grandma was Rachel Musselwhite Fields). I have quite a few photos of Margaret and her sisters and there is too much to tell here. She apparently owned a lot of land once on Pine Mt. and used to walk down from the mountain into Cumberland, Ky. to see my grandpa, Dr. David Maggard Fields. She was always smiling and carrying vegetables to give him. I have a lot of information I can copy, and photos if her to send you. Her family arrived here off the Trail of Tears. We have other relatives in western Kentucky who didn't make it this far east. Plus, I have information about other Margarets related to us, but I bet this is the right one. Please feel free to contact me. We were kin to Creeches too.
