Mike.

My name is George Musselwhite and I live in Basingstoke in Hampshire. My father and grandparents came from the Salisbury area, more specifically Coombe Bisset and Homington. There is at least one grave in Homington churchyard for a Sarah Musselwhite from the 1800s. My father tells me that he tried to establish a family tree years ago but that the parish records for Coombe Bisset were destroyed in a fire many years ago. With regard to Mussellwhite with two l's there is a branch in Basingstoke with that spelling and the family are still there and in the past have run a large building business, much of the old part of Basingstoke and at least one Victorian church are there due to their efforts
